With the growing challenges faced by religious communities today, our project embodies a commitment to safeguard and sustain a monastery that has provided for many centuries spiritual solace and prayer. Through this pilgrimage, we unite in hope and solidarity to ensure that this cherished monastery continues to serve as a beacon of faith, prayer, and community.
About the Monastery
Nestled on the tranquil Badija Island, the Franciscan Monastery of the Assumption of Mary has been a cornerstone of spiritual life for generations. Renowned for its historic architecture and serene atmosphere, it has provided a refuge for prayer and contemplation. The monastery’s rich legacy is deeply interwoven with the traditions of the Catholic Church. However, facing critical challenges, it now depends on your support to continue its vital ministry and preserve its sacred environment.
Pilgrimage Donation to Support the Monastery
As part of this Mercy Pilgrimage, each participant contributes a $1,000 donation to support the maintenance costs and necessary renovations at the Franciscan Monastery of the Assumption of Mary, on the island of Badija in Croatia. This donation is tax-deductible and is separate from the pilgrimage cost.
To complete your registration, the $1,000 donation must be made within five (5) business days of registering for the pilgrimage. You will receive a tax receipt after the pilgrimage has concluded.
The credit card processing fees are added to the donation amount. If you prefer to pay by check or ACH, the details are provided below.
