Prize in Ecumenism

On March 3, 2020, Fr. Hyacinthe Destivelle, an Under-secretary of the Pontifical Council for Promoting Christian Unity, asked our Foundation to assist in making a dream of his a reality: the establishment of a Prize for Ecumenism awarded through the Council.

There is no such prize in Rome. There are many prizes — for Patristics, for Biblical Studies, for Philosophical Theology, etc. — but NONE in our field…yet!

Such a prize would provide world-wide recognition, and, as a corollary, impetus for efforts in fostering greater cooperation among the Christian churches. What is needed to establish this prize is provision of a modest monetary award. Please help us fund this Prize for Ecumenism.
